Export and delivery: Feed URL, FTP/SFTP and platform setup

Generate the feed, copy the public Feed URL, deliver by FTP/SFTP on Scale and higher, and connect the URL to Google Merchant Center, Meta, TikTok or Criteo.

Export is the last page of a channel. It shows the generation state, the delivery methods and the setup steps for the destination platform.

Generate the feed

The Generate Feed card shows the last generation time and the products included, with a Regenerate Feed button. Opening Export automatically regenerates the feed unless it was generated in the last 30 seconds. Generation can take up to 90 seconds on large catalogs.

Above the card an alert summarizes quality: Feed has errors (with the count of products affected), Warnings detected or Feed is healthy, each linking to Feed Review.

Delivery method: Feed URL

Every channel has a permanent public URL:

https://feed.ironfeed.app/feed/<feed-token>
e.g. https://feed.ironfeed.app/feed/7f3a9c2e-51b4-4d8e-9a10-2c6e0f1b8d33
  • The URL is public: anyone who has it can read the feed. Share it only with your advertising platform.
  • The file is XML (RSS 2.0 with the Google g: namespace). Criteo channels use the same format.
  • Responses carry ETag, Last-Modified, Cache-Control: public, max-age=60, must-revalidate, plus X-Products-Count and X-Generated-At headers, so platforms revalidate right after a regeneration.
  • Before the first generation the URL returns an empty RSS document with the message "No feed has been generated yet".
  • A wrong token returns HTTP 404. When the workspace has no active trial or subscription the URL returns HTTP 410 Gone until the plan is active again.

Use Copy URL or Open in new tab on the Export page, or Copy in the channels table.

Delivery method: FTP / SFTP

Available on Scale, Agency and Enterprise plans. In the FTP / SFTP tab:

FieldNotes
ProtocolSFTP (recommended) or FTP
PortDefaults to 22 (SFTP) or 21 (FTP)
Hoste.g. sftp.acme-outdoor.example
Username / PasswordAccount on your server
Remote pathFull file path, e.g. /feeds/google.xml

Save settings stores the configuration. Upload feed now pushes the last generated file; a line below shows the last upload time, Success or Failed, and the error message if any. Generate the feed before uploading.

Meta Catalog, TikTok, Criteo

In each platform's catalog manager, add a data source of type scheduled fetch / URL and paste the Feed URL. Meta and TikTok accept the RSS XML produced by IRONFEED; Criteo Commerce Growth accepts the Google XML format directly. Set the fetch frequency to match your update schedule.

When does the feed change?

  • After every scheduled or manual import of the shop.
  • After you save Master Fields (all channels of the shop are regenerated).
  • After Save and Proceed in the wizard, Regenerate Feed, Re-run Review or entering Processing.
  • Paused channels stop regenerating; the last file keeps being served.
