Notifications and alerts
Configure in-app and email alerts for product drops, fetch failures, schema changes, mapping errors, export failures, missed schedules and quota limits, with immediate, hourly or daily digests.
IRONFEED raises an alert whenever something needs your attention in a shop or channel. Alerts show in the bell icon, on the Notifications page (/alerts) and, if enabled, by email.
Alert types
| Type | Triggered when |

| Product drops | The product count falls beyond the shop's drop threshold between two imports |
| Feed fetch failures | The source feed cannot be downloaded or parsed |
| Schema changes | Source fields appear, disappear or change type |
| Mapping errors | A mapping rule fails to evaluate |
| Export failures | A channel feed fails to generate or an SFTP upload fails |
| Missed schedules | A scheduled update does not run on time |
| Quota exceeded | A plan limit is reached |
| Shop recovered | A shop that had errors is healthy again |
Each alert has a severity (info, warning, critical) and a status (unread, read, resolved). Critical alerts are always emailed immediately.
Preferences
Under Settings → Notifications:

Click Save preferences. Preferences are per user, so each teammate chooses their own.
Per-shop thresholds
The drop percentage that triggers Product drops is configured per shop under Updates schedule.
Unsubscribe
Every alert email contains an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops alert emails for that address; in-app alerts continue. Transactional emails about your account (invitations, password resets, billing) are not affected.
