Master Fields: normalize your catalog once

Master Fields are shop-wide mapping rules for id, title, description, link, price, image_link and optional attributes that every channel reuses. Learn the editor, preview and copy tools.

Master Fields are a library of universal rules for a shop. You define how each attribute is produced once — from a source field, a static value, a combination, a lookup table — and every channel can reuse that rule. Fix a title problem here and all your feeds change together.

Required, optional and custom fields

GroupFieldsNotes
Requiredid, title, description, link, price, image_linkAlways present. Unconfigured required fields are highlighted and open in edit mode. The id row is locked by default; click Unlock to change it.

CustomAny name you typeAdd Custom Field; names are lower-cased and spaces become underscores (Warranty Yearswarranty_years).

Each group shows a configured / total counter.

Row actions (visible on hover): Preview, Edit Mode, Copy to Master Fields (duplicate an optional field as <name>_copy), Remove, Collapse. Comments and Search are marked coming soon.

Preview

Preview runs the mapping against a sample of your real products and shows the resulting value per product, together with the source fields used. Use it before saving to confirm a Combine or a condition does what you expect.

Copy from another shop

Copy from Another Shop imports every master field definition from another shop in your workspace into the current one (existing fields with the same name are overwritten in the editor). Click Save Changes to persist. This is the fastest way to onboard a second store with the same source format.

Saving

  • Save Changes validates every edited field (incomplete conditions, lookup tables without a default value, incomplete IF / ELSE branches are rejected with a message) and saves.
  • Save and Proceed saves and opens Channels.
  • After a successful save, every channel of the shop is regenerated automatically so the Feed URLs pick up the change. The toast reports how many channels were regenerated.
  • "You have unsaved changes" is shown until you save.
